Career Counsel for Executives & Professionals

I spent 15 years in the room where hiring decisions are made. Let me show you what actually happens there.

About

Built from the inside of hiring

For fifteen years I recruited across fifteen countries for more than 200 of the world’s top firms — so I know exactly how hiring decisions get made. Now I work for you, not the employer.
My clients are CEOs, CFOs, VPs, directors and specialists — many in Switzerland, some making the leap from academia to industry, others across Europe, the UK, the US and beyond. The approach is direct and energising: I spar with you and create with you, not just advise you.

Taking Control

You know how hiring should work. But do you know how it actually works?

Why one CV is pushed forward and another is admired but forgotten. The conversation after you leave the interview. The small unspoken reasons one person is chosen over another – none of which ever reaches you. These are the gaps we close together.

Deeper Thinking

How modern careers move.

From the thinking you do before you begin to the decision you make at the end — five moments, and what each really turns on.

Before The Search

The next move isn't always the obvious one.

The options on the table aren’t the only ones worth considering. The work begins with understanding what you want — which might not be what you came in asking for.

In The Market

Read quickly. Remembered selectively.

Most careers have more experience than the market has time to absorb. The work is making the right parts visible to the right people — and cutting the rest.

Where Roles Arise

The roles worth having rarely start with a job description.

Most are shaped through conversations, reputation and advocacy long before a process opens. By the time it’s advertised, it’s often already decided.

In The Room

Competence is the ticket, not the prize.

Two people, equally qualified. One gets the offer. I spent fifteen years in the room where these decisions are made — so I can show you how to differentiate.

At The Decision

A move can look right and still be wrong.

The most valuable thinking happens before an offer is accepted, not after. That’s the conversation most people never get to have.
